Do you know how it feels to be the new girl ? You have friends but will they stab you in the back ?

One day there was a girl named Demetra. It was her first day of high school. She was nervous, as she walked in everyone's eyes immediately turned on her. When  she walked down the hallway everyone stared at her. By the time lunch came she was very popular,

As the week went by she felt the opposite of nervous. She was confident. She quickly got a boyfriend, the one everyone wanted and who was very popular. She also had her squad, Mimi (her best friend), Krystal, Serenity, and Trinity. 

Weeks went by……….

Demetra became more and more popular.

​

“ Oh Mimi look, I hit 3 million followers” said Demetra 

​

“Oh Wow ,“ said Mimi sarcastically

​

The next day in the Math, Demetra went to sit next to Xander (her boyfriend) but Mimi was already sitting there laughing and giggling. 

​

“ Hey, Mimi, why are you sitting next to Xander when that’s my boyfriend” said Demetra

 

“ Well if you didn’t know, I liked him before you.’’ Demetra was shocked 

“ In addition, we’re dating now so too bad, too  sad, Oh I was only your friend just to get close to him.

       

   Rolling her eyes Demetra said “ So you're a fake friend, who else here is fake?”

If you are, I got a message for you “You are just a part of me you didn’t make me, I’d rather have no friends and stay true to myself, then have many friends and all of them are fake’’. All the rest of the class,  Demetra  spent deleting all the pictures and blocking all her “friends”. When she walked out of the class, everyone looked at her the same way they did on the first day. Demetra was thinking what am I going to do, I have no friends and she began to tear up. When she checked her phone she saw on snapchat that she broke up with Xander, and then she saw a pic of Xander and Mimi she was in horror !!!

“How can they already know???’’, But when she looked up everyone was smiling and staring and this time it was PRIDE in their eyes. They were so happy Demetra stood up for herself.

When Demetra got home she had an idea.

‘’ Maybe I can make a new instagram profile and another youtube channel it can be called Truth vs Fake; Road To Recovery’’ 

She spent all day making the channel better and she made a video about what happened.  She got so many likes and comments that were so relatable to what happened, some of them were laughing because the same thing happened to them and some were like “that is crazy if my bestfriend did that I  would do the same thing you did”.  she was proud of herself she even did another video on reflection and her emotions.

She became very popular once again off of her channel every time she passes Mimi they both roll their eyes. 

Weeks went by……

Demetra has been doing amazing, her youtube channel is thriving, she has real friends and they’re very nice. She saw a poster being hung up and it's about the formal 

​

Demetra sighed ‘’ Wow this year went by so fast and I  still feel awful about what happened between Mimi and I , as she closed her locker she looked down and  she saw Logan ( her crush) he was on one knee .

“Will you go to the Formal with me, Demetra ?’’ asked  Logan .

​

“YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’’said Demetra as she hugged Logan .

Hours Later………

At the end of the day, Demetra  was leaving when she saw Mimi crying Demetra went over there and asked 

“What happened” asked Demetra frowning

 “It’s over ,he’s done with me, Then she realized how Demetra felt ‘’ OMG Demetra, I’m so sorry for what I did to you.’’ “I don’t  expect you to be my friend but can you accept my apology?”  Mimi said. 

​

Well, now I have real friends and I don't need you,  I accept your apology but you wont get my pity ,have a nice life Mimi

Now, You know how it feels to be new and popular and how it feels to have it taken away in a second and to top everything by your best friend.
