Welcome to the Young Women's Leadership School's literary journal where we let kids tell their stories and express their emotions through art.

Meet our editorial staff!

During her free time, Madison either likes to watch tv or hang out with her twin brother. Madison likes to think of herself as a comedian because she love making people laugh.

Chantal Fernandez Brito, Poetry Editor

Hey, My Name Is Chantal Fernandez and I am the Poetry Editor. As you may know, Middle School and High School years are very hard. Many students at Tywls Brooklyn find that writing poems allow them to express their feelings and share them with the world in a safe way. I have to say that every single poem I have edited is heart touching and beautiful. Every student has hidden talents and this is a beautiful way to show them to the world. I as an 9th grader can say that I am blessed to have this job and I appreciate every single person that has and continues to submit their work. We appreciate you.
